Initial Inquiry
Schedule your Discovery call with Calandy now. Click the link below to begin the process. Our team will contact you within 24 hours to set up an initial video call.
Discovery
We connect for a 30-minute video introduction. We learn about your desired outdoor living space, more about your property, your budget, and your timeline. We will also explain our process in more detail and identify if we are a good fit. If we are a good fit, we provide a design agreement to secure our services.
Site Meeting
We will meet at your home, walk your site, and discuss your specific vision. This includes recording your property measurements, elevations, soil conditions, current backyard conditions, and features. We then gather information about municipal regulations, zoning, bylaws, and other details related to your property. We want to make sure we get it right the first time. So, we do a lot of background work to ensure you know exactly what is possible, and we avoid any delays in the build phase
Design Review
We will then develop a 3-D design concept based on your preferences, dream sheet, and any other ideas you provide, while considering the specifics of your property and budget. This concept will show you the kinds of materials, colors, and design features on your home. This allows us to have a clear direction for your design-build process. This part of the process includes a 1-hour video meeting to discuss and review the concept and gather feedback. We make all edits and then proceed to pricing.
Pricing Review
Once we have a conceptual design that you love, we create a detailed and itemized proposal. No secrets. No surprises. You’ll know the cost. If the proposal exceeds your budget, we will collaborate with you to adjust your concept or divide the installation into phases. We also provide all documents needed for HOA approvals. Once this process is completed, we will get started
The Installation

Please note, that we require payment before beginning the design phase. Our designers spend an average of 20 hours on each design. As such, design fees are priced based on the job requirements and are credited to your project upon signing the installation contract.

How long until you can enjoy your new Backyard Resort?

The project timeline may vary depending on various factors, but here’s an idea of what to expect.

PHASE 1: DISCOVERY

2-3 weeks

At this stage, we initiate the project and gather information on your requirements, design preferences, and budget.

PHASE 2:
DESIGN

2-3 weeks

Take a virtual tour of your new backyard resort! Discuss revisions, phases, and budget options

PHASE 3: FINALIZATION

1-2 weeks

Finalize plans and E-sign Agreement, then get started on the permitting process.

PHASE 4: CONSTRUCTION

1-3 months

Dive into your new pool, host parties, make memories, and finally enjoy the outdoor space you’ve always wanted.
